I remember when I was in the Coast Guard in NOLA We didn't have Emergency light on our vehicles so every time we had to get there in a hurry we had NOPD escort us code 3 to the highway where the state police took over. Had one run from New Orleans to lower Plaquemines parish. Poor State Police always were afraid we would run over them. Had one dodge carryall in the procession with 5 Gal cans of foam agent loaded to the roof have a Blowout at 90MPH What a ride.
