Greetings from Wyoming
Thought I would drop in and introduce myself. I was referred to this Forum by an old friend and I am in the process of being verified if its not already done.
I am an 18 year veteran of Law Enforcement. I spent 5 years as an active duty MP in the Army and saw action in the Gulf war back in 1991.
I am a Patrol Sergeant with the Casper Police Department in Central Wyoming. We have around 93 Sworn Officers and Police a City of around 70,000 people (yeah I know, we are understaffed). I have been with Casper for just over 13 years. I am a Firearms Instructor, a level III Accident Reconstructionist and a TASER Instructor. In addition to a Patrol Team, I supervise the departments Accident Investigation Team (fatal & serious injury) and I developed and over see the departments TASER program. I also spent about 7 years on the areas Multi Jurisdictional SWAT Team.
As if that isnt enough to keep me busy, I work at the local Sportsmans Warehouse behind the gun counter on my days off. I am an avid archery Elk hunter and Coyote hunter although I love all kinds of hunting. I also love to fish (especially ice fishing). I am a Sports Fan (especially the Patriots) and I golf in my spare time
. I have a wonderful wife who is a Saint for putting up with me.
Glad to be on board. Thanks for having me.

Good to have you. This is a good site full of good people. (And a few liberals!)
For the morning will come. Brightly will it shine on the brave and true, kindly upon all who suffer for the cause, glorious upon the tombs of heroes. Thus will shine the dawn.

You won't be excepted here unless you invite everyone to come hunting and fishing.

Thanks for the warm welcome.
Any time narcodog. Its what I do best. I would be more than happy to take anyone who wants to go but especially another cop. Nothing I would rather be doing with my free time on the rare occasion I get some free time. Come September I spend a minimum of 14 days in the high country bow hunting elk."Any community's arm of force - military, police, security - needs people in it who can do necessary evil, and yet not be made evil by it. To do only the necessary and no more. To constantly question the assumptions, to stop the slide into atrocity."

goooooo pats
http://www.allpoetry.com/Grunts%20Girl
We dallied under
Vine maples and sapling alders
Searched for lady slippers
But instead
Found blackberry riots and
Desiccated branches
An old skid road
Brought ghost ferns and
Hollows filled with
Skunk cabbage
While waves wrapped
Intricate lacings of weeds
'Round mule spinners
His cyanotic eyes
Were hard enough to make
The sun turn tail and
Tender enough to attract me
To his world of illusion
