How's it going guys & galls. Iam from Washington State and I'm currently employed as a Police officer with Handford Patrol. I have been on the Special Response Team for about 3 years.
I served in the Marine Corp for 4 years as a 8541. I like to shoot 3-gun matches, IPSC and watch the Seattle Seahawks.. So Go Hawks.

With all due respect to your position your job status does not fill the requirements of a full time law enforcement officer as defined by the definations set forth by this sites administrators.
Forums LEO Verification Requirements:
You must be a retired (for service or service related disability) or currently employed and fully sworn full-time/part-time/reserve/auxiliary law enforcement officer with full arrest powers, law enforcement authority in your jurisdiction, and have graduated a law enforcement academy for law enforcement officers.
This is based on the research I have done on the federal guidelines of your position. I have much respect to your training and status with your job. We have a similar site in my area and the security officers there are some of the best trained I ever worked with.

- Other Authority. The Act does not provide authority to arrest
for violations of state criminal statutes or for violations of federal
criminal statutes other than those listed in paragraph (a) of this

statutes shall be made by other peace officers (e.g., U.S. Marshals or

(e) In those locations which are within the ``special maritime and
territorial jurisdiction of the United States,'' as defined in 18 U.S.C.
7, the Assimilative Crimes Act (18 U.S.C. 13) adopts the law of the
state for any crime under state law not specifically prohibited by
Federal statute and provides for federal enforcement of that state law.
The local DOE Office of Chief Counsel, in coordination with contractor
legal counsel, as appropriate, shall provide guidance in this matter.

Then with a heavy heart I reached out to sshog8541. I extended an invitation to remain in our Kingdom without the sacred LEO status and I anxiously awaited his reply.
