Hello from American Police Beat
Hello all,
My name is Greg Bogosian, and I am the Project Manager for American Police Beat magazine. We wrote an article some time ago about the prior iteration of this site, and I recently rediscovered it while browsing through some police-related internet queries.
I am also a sworn Auxiliary officer in a town near where I live, having gone through the state Reserve academy. Overall, I have nearly ten years' experience on the street in public safety, including four years working for a major city. As such, I know what it's like out there, and my personal thanks to all of you who wear the uniform.
I welcome any comment about what you've seen on our pages, as well as contributions in the form of articles, photographs, or suggestions for stories. Please understand that we cannot accept everything that's sent for publication, however I will take a fair look at anything sent. Send me a private message for my contact information for those purposes if you're interested.
Our mission, like it says on our cover, is to be "the voice of the nation's law enforcement community." I look forward to speaking with those of you who do the job to find out what you think is important to talk about as we keep that mission going.
Be Safe,
Greg Bogosian

Welcome to OR, Greg.
I've been a subscriber to APB for the past few years, and look forward to receiving my copy every month. Great reading. Great information.
BTW, where's my newest issue? It's late arriving in my mailbox.
(Well, only a day or two late.)
To the other OR members, if you're interested in reading a great LE publication, look into a subscription to American Police Beat. You won't be dissappointed.

Cajunguy,
Thanks for the kind words, they're much appreciated.
If you (or anyone else who subscribes and reads this) are having problems getting the magazine on time, please PM me with your name or subscriber number (appears just above your name on the mailing label) and I will ask our circulation manager to look into it. It typically arrives in the first week of each month. February just came off the press and went to mail late last week, for example.
