I'm a new member here. I'm a civilian police officer with the department of defense, working on a military base in CA. I decided to join this site to take advantage of all the resources and knowlwedge that is offered. My department is still in it's infancy stage, and has a lot of things that still need to be worked out. Progress is slow for us converting Law Enforcement duties from military control to civilians, but it is getting better.

Welcome from Northern California. Which military base are you employed at, if I might ask? I am a civilian employee of the military working for an AAFES distribution center.

I work for Camp Pendleton right now.
