Yes, another oc guy
Hi
I am another one of them open carry guys
I am not a LEO, but I have seen some on TV. I am a conservative who believes strongly in what our founding fathers intended on protecting. I believe that "the right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed" is more than a catch phrase. I dont think one part of society should have greater rights than any other.

Welcome. What part of our society has more rights than another?

Hello and welcome aboard from Louisiana.
SI VIS PACEM PARA BELLUM-Ex-Sheriff Martin Howe to Will Kane in "High Noon"
"It's a great life. You risk your skin catching killers and the juries turn them loose so they can come back and shoot at you again. If your honest , your poor your whole life. And , In the end , you wind up dying all alone on some dirty street. For what? For nothing. For a tin star."
Far from being a handicap to command, compassion is the measure of it. For unless one values the lives of his soldiers and is tormented by their ordeals , he is unfit to command.

Thank you all for the welcome, I promise to be civil as I am shown.

I didn't say more, I said greater. You and I both have the right to keep and bear arms, but you are able to enjoy that right far easier than I. You are part of a society that I am not. That would be an example. I guess I am visiting your yard to see how your society feels about my society. I am still looking through the trees a bit, haven't figured out how to navigate here yet. I'm sure we will get to know each other soon.
Oh, I did want to say thank you to all of you LEO's, you do a dirty job that not everyone would be willing to endure.

I should have expounded a little. Each part of society has their own class. For instance theres the lower class, middle class and upper class of society. With in those classes are sub-classes and so on and so forth. The upper echelon will have the same rights as I do, but will be able to employ and enjoy then easier than I could. I'm not whining about it, its just the way it is.

I certainly don't see LEO as an upper echelon. Lord knows the courts don't.
