    I love my job!!

    I have the best job around. Our chief is great! Our officers are great! Shoot as of the moment our town council is great! I just hope that it never ends.

    I've worked at a few other departments before and its never been anything close to what we have. The only time we get turned down for anything, is if there literally is no funds to do it. The chief involves everyone in decison making from the council down to our newest officer. We always go with what the team wants as a whole. For those of u who don't have this luxury, believe me there are still some departments left out there. I'm glad to be here and know that we are a very officer friendly department down here in Louisiana and if u ever need anything just look us up. Hope to meet many of u soon.

    I also like my job. Where else can you get paid to drive 120mph, put thugs in jail, and make a positive impact on someones life.

    We have take home cars, are on the clock from our driveways and off the clock when we we park it at the end fo the shift. Don't have to go to office/station for roll call, etc.

    And let me tell you there is nothing better than having a trooper show up to your call or on a traffic stop. You know the fun is about to begin when they show up. If only the academy wasn't such a pain in the neck LT.
