Thread: Minnesota Greetings

Hello from Minnesota. I saw an article about this site in American Police Beat and thought I would check it out.
A little bit about me: Born in North Dakota, raised in Minnesota. Got a Bachelor's Degree, currently working on my Master's, and have been in Law Enforcement since 2003 (got my start in North Dakota, now working in Minnesota). Not married, but I do have the World's Most Supportive Girlfriend. (The recent increase in my belly size has its roots in her cooking. ) I am an officer for a small department in the Twin Cities area. I sent my "LEO verification" PM to the mods, so I should have the "verified" tag w/in a few days or so.
I'm looking forward to seeing how this site differs from some of the others I've been on before.

Welcome enjoy your stay.Being the best is not what always counts. What counts is always trying your best.
Remember who you are, and where you came from. That way you never get a big head.
May those that lost their lives in 9-11 RIP, for the things you did not many could do. You left so many behind so that you could save so few. For now we stand strong as one, and will not look back till the fight is done. (me)

A smile cost nothing, but gives so much.
It enriches those who receive it,without making poorer those who give.It takes but a moment, but the memoryof it sometimes lasts forever.
None is so rich or mighty that hecan get along without it,and none is so poor but thathe can be made rich by it.
A smile creates happiness in the home, fosters goodwill in business, and is the countersign of friendship.
It brings rest to the weary, cheer to the discouraged, sunshine to the sad,and it is nature's best antidote for trouble.
Yet it cannot be bought, begged, borrowed,or stolen, for it is something that is of novalue to anyone until it is given away.
Some people are too tired to give you a smile.Give them one of yours, as none needs a smileso much as he who has no more to give.
