Just wanted to say hello from Birmingham, AL. Although I've thought about it for some time, I've just decided this year to pursue a career in LE. I graduated from a local university in '09 and have been a case manager since with a couple of non-profit agencies (working in mental health and with at-risk youth/families).
Look forward to discussion and getting to know some of you guys. Anyone from Alabama? Anyone have any initial advice for someone just starting to look for their first job in LE?
