I never introduced myself
I have been using the site about a week now, I guess I shoud introduce myself to you good people
I have been a volunteer Firefighter/EMT since 92 after I got out of the Air Force. I work as a PC tech, and Truck driver. I recently reviewed my financial outlook with the truck and decided it was time to get rid of the bankrupt business. Now without looking back, I am moving forward with a life long goal of becoming a certified LEO. I was recently sworn in as a reserve deputy on a Mounted/ATV unit, and upon sucessfull completion of motor officer school in June, I will be sworn in on another department as a reserve motor officer. I am excited and hope to use these opportunities as a good foot in the door. It will be hard for a 36yr old white male with only an associates degree (23credits from completion) to compete with youger men and women with Bachelors degrees, or minorities. I'm going to give it a good shot, I have a wife a 3 kids counting on me.
