    New from Memphis

    Hi everyone, just found this place, thanks to 1sgkelly over at officer.com

    Currently a 3 year rookie with Memphis PD, but looking for a smaller department (maybe, may just stay with MPD). Was looking at Oakland but their not hiring right now. Maybe collierville, piperton, bartlett, or g'town. Don't really want to leave memphis, but I feel there is more potential for advancement in a smaller dept.

    I have aspirations to be a DARE/GREAT School officer.
    My fiance wants to be a Music Teacher.

    Engaged to a gorgeous girl who just got a job selling saturns for one of the local Saturn Dealerships. Between my fiance and myself, we own 4 saturns.

    Wedding is planned for July 30th in the Smoky Mountains near Bryson, NC.
    I was wanting to have a "dept" wedding here locally, but no such luck. All of her family is from Ohio, and Spring Hill, TN, mine are all from Memphis, TN and Grenada, MS and Texas.

    We're joking about having a dept themed renewal wedding next year, since the majority of my graduating class will be in Firearms re-qual and In-service the week of my wedding.

    Looking forward to getting to know all of you better soon.

    Was going to post a picture of me, but can't find it right now, so I'll post it later when I find it.

    Did you ever work with seely? I think he was C-shift. I used to live in whitehaven before moving to hickory hood. moved out of south last year in august. 415 E. Shelby. Got broke into so many times, it was time to go. Why I moved to someplace almost as bad, I don't know.
