Im not only new to this site but technology challenged!! so take it easy on me.
I'm a Police Officer in the New South Wales Police Force in Australia, this seemed like a good opportunity to speak with other LEO's in other countries to compare/exchange information and I guess a few stories as well.
I've been in the job about 3 years now and have worked in General Duties (uniform/patrol) and also in Plain Clothes in a pro-active unit. I've just finished a 6 month secondment in the Detectives and I'm about to commence plain clothes duties again in a drug strike force.
Love the job and the people in it!
Thanks for the welcome

G'day!A common mistake made when trying to come up with a totally foolproof design is to completely underestimate the innate ingenuity of fools.
The last thing I want to do is hurt you but it's still there on my list of options, so are you coming quietly.........?

Hello and welcome aboard from Louisiana.SI VIS PACEM PARA BELLUM-Ex-Sheriff Martin Howe to Will Kane in "High Noon"
"It's a great life. You risk your skin catching killers and the juries turn them loose so they can come back and shoot at you again. If your honest , your poor your whole life. And , In the end , you wind up dying all alone on some dirty street. For what? For nothing. For a tin star."
Far from being a handicap to command, compassion is the measure of it. For unless one values the lives of his soldiers and is tormented by their ordeals , he is unfit to command.
