Igloos? I've been to Vancouver, done the Grouse Mountain, Manning Park, Whistler bit and never ever saw an Igloo. And my Brother in Law lives in Chilliwack (35 years or so) and he's never seen one either. Does your family know of your drinking problem, eh?

well, if the police are like the ones here, get thick skin asap. I think most of the guys and gals in this profession will agree that at times the people who give you the most dissatisfaction in this job are your own co-workers. Be they smart-mouths, r.o.d.s., angry sergeants, cowards, or those who'll instigate a situation and let you deal with it. People skills are the name of the game. That and the ability to take immediate of control of a situation, and if you cant get control be tactically sound as you can be. None of us enjoy reading about a fallen brother or sister. Good luck canuck.
