Got spooked about 4 months into the academy during Officer Survival. I was newly married, naive about police work, and I was suddenly faced with the worst situations police face, one after another, for several weeks. I suddenly felt as if I would probably end up getting myself or someone else hurt, and came back to my old job. Worst decision I ever made, but hopefully not the end of the line.
Hopefully I'll remedy that sometime soon, but we'll see.
