POLICE SUPPORT SERVICES

Receives and dispatches requests for Police, Fire, and Animal Control emergency and nonemergency
services. Also provides Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD) services. A High School
Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) is required. Six months or more of municipal Police,
Fire, and 9-1-1 enhanced dispatching experience is preferred.
Telecommunications Certification, as
issued by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Officers Standards and Education
(TCLEOSE), is preferred. Must have a valid Texas driver’s license and driving record must be in
compliance with Town policy. Must train, test, and certify as an Emergency Medical Dispatcher (EMD)
per Priority Dispatch standards. Must work flexible hours to include all shifts; nights, weekends, and
holidays, and accept on-call duty status.

Minimum Starting Salary:
$2,728/month (dependent on qualifications).
