Charlotte-Mecklenburg PD is doing a crap load of hiring right now. They are planning on running a new recruit and a lateral class in July and then again in September. I started the process byt had to stop do to shared parenting issues with the ex-wife. The process for out of towners is very fast and they are a top notch PD
I was looking at them before I got hired here in Florida, they are a good Dept. and Charlotte is a beautiful city to me.
Yes it is very nice there. I have been a police officer for 13 yrs and they were ofering me a great lateral transfer. Anyone interested go to cmpd.org

My wife was at a teaching job fair today and the area is on a hiring binge. What areas of N.C. are decent?
Nice suburban department for me works well. I did the inner city for 10 years
