In the Secret Service, we serve the country with duty, loyalty, justice, integrity and courage. The Secret Service is currently hiring Special Agents throughout the country, generally beginning at the GL-7 or GL-9 grade levels. Based on those grade levels and geographic area assigned, the 2009 starting salary range is $43,200 - $73,354. An additional 25% Law Enforcement Availability Pay (LEAP) is added to the base, geographic pay.
