I already had my flights booked for Police week. With the new price drop with southwest It was a $20 difference in price. I went to SW site and changed my itinerary and it gave me the $20 credit. I could get a check for this or apply it to next flight. Just figured I would share Anyone else who booked SW should check the current rates to see if you can get the savings.

I just looked up fares on Southwest and at least for the trip I might take in March (within the dates of the special), it wasn't included in the special. I guess the airports I picked aren't the "select markets or flights".
But Southwest still is the cheapest right now.

Why does southwest seem to hit you so much on the return trip?? They are almost always the cheapest on the way to somewhere, but they kill me on the flight back just about every time. The free baggage doesn't always make up for the deal!

For me to fly from Indy to Tampa next month would cost me about $230-$300 it looks like.
I can see Pitt to DC being cheap, you probably don't even get to hit cruising altitude on that flight. hehe
