In short it is a word of mouth marketing plan by several manufacturers. They sale items to professionals in certain circles that they know will influence others to buy their products. One of the professional circles is Law Enforcement Professionals. You have to fill out a profile, and apply to different groups and some groups are invite only. I have been signed up for a couple of months now and the discounts range from 20 to 50% depending on the product. This is significant when you can get VIP prices on Leupold scopes as they are one of the manufacturers. The catch you ask....each manufacturer is different. Leupold for example only allows you 3 purchases a year. All have restrictions that pop up when you shop like only buy items for yourself, quantity restrictions, and all sells are final type things. They will contact your agency to make sure you are sworn. So far I have not had any negative feedback to report on this deal. Let me know when you sign up.
