I'm a little tired of this type of "job security". Some rectal orifice encourages his little kid to engage in this type of fighting, then gets the ACLU to sue us when we shoot the kid a couple of years later. Not to mention the numbers of citizens victimized by such genetic rubbish...

I believe this is identical to the Pitt Bull debate. If a kid is raised like that (encouraged to fight by his parents, surrounded by cuss words and inappropriate behavior), then that is how he will act for the rest of his life unless he is somehow saved at an early age. A Pitt Bull's behaviors reflects that of how they were raised. If you treat them like shit, then they'll be the meanest thing around. If you raise them with love, compassion, and care then they are truely the sweetest animals on Earth.

If these kids continue to be raised by the people in that video, they WILL end up in prison. Hopefully they just won't hurt or kill people before doing so.

Two charged in fight
Friday, November 17, 2006

The St. Petersburg Police Department has charged two people in connection with a videotaped fight between two boys that was widely seen on the Internet.

A group of adults, some with money in their hands, egged the 6-year-olds on.

Rodney Lee Sales, 18, of 16th Avenue South in St. Petersburg is charged with child abuse and felony battery. St. Petersburg police said the charge against Sales was a simple battery that was upgraded to a felony because of a prior battery charge on his record.

The other person charged is a 17-year-old female who also lives on 16th Avenue South. She is charged with child abuse. In accordance with Bay News 9's crime guidelines, we are not naming the female because she is a juvenile.

Detective Joe Ross of the St. Petersburg Police Department's crimes against children unit said the department received an anonymous tip that led them to the location of the incident, a residence near 49th Street South in St. Petersburg.

The exact address where the fight took place is not being released to protect the identity of the victims. The video was shot on Nov. 4.

Police said that during their investigation they found out why the suspects made the two boys fight.

"One of the witnesses said this is how they learn to fight to be tough on the streets," Ross said.

The boys' parents did not know about the fight.
