Need help quitting smoking?
For some reason in the last 2 days, Sasha gets really annoyed if someone tries to light a lighter. Not sure why, this just started.

I know how psychotic dogs can be about certain things, I have three. One insists on dunking her toys in the toilet, one is afraid of thunderstorms and ceiling fans, and the last thinks that vaccum cleaners and leaf blowers are to be violently killed on sight.

I wonder if the wife taught these dogs in effort to get you guys to quit tobacco usage.
Sometimes dogs will react to different things that mess with their hearing. Remember their hearing is quite a bit sharper than ours.
Choose The Right. When you're doing whats right, then you have nothing to worry about.

There is an odor that is given out by the lighter that can be very sensitive to dogs... your dog may be very sensitive to it.
Something you can do if you need to is conditional response training for your dog with a distracting item of some sort so that your dog will associate the lighter with something good.
There are several good ways to do this.. .but I am sure your other dog training buddies can help if you dont have any ideas...
and it doesnt involve food. But I am also sure you knew all this lol..
