Emergency vehicle crash
An ambulance hits a car on a junction.
I think it's the ambulance drivers fault the lights are red and you hear his crew mate say "red light steve" just before impact.

Yeah, that would suck. The ambulance driver probably got his ass chewed out for that one...

A perfect example of what NOT to do when driving an emergency vehicle. While the other driver technicaly failed to yield to the ambulance, the crew failed to exercise due regard in this incident. The intersection had limited visibility to the left (ambulance perspective). In addition the light was RED for the ambulance, the driver failed to notice this & his passenger failed to warn him in time. This crash was the ambulance's fault since it was the vehicle that failed to slow down to clear the intersection and ran the red light creating the hazzard.

My dept would give me the screw on that one. We have to stop at red lights and make sure no one is coming, then go.

Yep, I think I'd be getting a write up on that one or worse! Thats something my training officer drilled into me years ago....stop, look, look again....honk horn, then go. He'd been in one of those wrecks and learned the hard way.
