What is amazing to me is that it looks great and he's not covered in paint himself! Amazing!
If it were my 4 year old, he'd have more paint on him than on the wood... (not to mention that he'd probably have drawn a smiley face on the concrete under him).
You have every right to be proud of that little guy!!

Hes a natural,
He did get a little paint on the cement, and flipped out.
he thought he was in trouble, and almost started crying.
I had to drop a little on the cement to show him it was ok.
"but dad, you said only on the wood".
hes awesome, if i could arrange it, i would have 2 or 3 more of him.
but ive been neutered.

It's good you didn't wait any longer to stain the deck--a few more years and he might have gotten too big to get to those spots, and then you would have had to wait till you got a grandchild small enough to reach those spots!

Term.... AHAHAHAHAHAH omg..that was funny on so many levels...
what a cute kid!!http://www.allpoetry.com/Grunts%20Girl
We dallied under
Vine maples and sapling alders
Searched for lady slippers
But instead
Found blackberry riots and
Desiccated branches
An old skid road
Brought ghost ferns and
Hollows filled with
Skunk cabbage
While waves wrapped
Intricate lacings of weeds
'Round mule spinners
His cyanotic eyes
Were hard enough to make
The sun turn tail and
Tender enough to attract me
To his world of illusion
