Sounded like an American style siren. I thought you guys used that warble tone?

Plus she beat him even after stuffing up that S.

Nice video Dave. She wouldn't live with him in an on road chase though, and we know it.

Dave, if you come across a prog called ''Inside an Armed Robbery'' made by Sky, you'll see a very good looking and expert driver chasing a racing driver on a track. The Police driver couldn't be left.

I think you'd also find she had been round that track many times before.
I don't think he did too bad.
As Trojan said the real world is a whole lot different.

I remember when we first got the wail and yelp sirens. The bosses were dead set against them. Said they had complaints that the noises made animals so scared they aborted when pregnant!

What they really meant was farmers will screw you for money with any excuse and the bosses themselves didn't want to move on into the 20th century.
the sole advantage of power is that you can do more good.

The vehicles I currently drive have a wail, yelp and two tone (also called a french horn)
Or the newer ones have wail, yelp and white noise alarm.

The first vehicle my tutor drove had a blue light that could only be used when the vehicle was stationary as the chief constable at the time didn't like the idea of his officers racing about the place.
