Damn, talk about overkill. I had a car come through the back gate of West Point when I was an MP there, with a large deer still stuck in the windshield. The guy driving was in total shock and unfortunately his wife was killed while she was in the front passenger seat. The guy just drove to the gateshack where me and my partner were filling in for a guy getting his midnight chow. Even that accident did not look as bad as the ones pictured here did. Damn, what a mess.

I hit a deer in Missouri though not as bad. The responding MHP trooper's first quest to me was, "Were you wearing your seatbelt?" Never saw where that was important.
