Ok, I can't read this thread any more. I'm going to be traveling deer-laden roads today.

Never have found the whole story anywhere, If the driver was smart, he tried to crawl in the glovebox when he saw it coming. I;d call the interior a total write-off. The exterior didn't fare to well either. Here's a pic I missed.

That would be the liver, between the seats, by the bottles of Coke. In the back, it appears to be the kidneys. I think the dark object, on the right, was a piece of cargo that got decorated.

It looks like the deer actually jumped right before getting hit.

Looks like a successful hunt. Might be a little heavy on the velocity though.

Damn, talk about overkill. I had a car come through the back gate of West Point when I was an MP there, with a large deer still stuck in the windshield. The guy driving was in total shock and unfortunately his wife was killed while she was in the front passenger seat. The guy just drove to the gateshack where me and my partner were filling in for a guy getting his midnight chow. Even that accident did not look as bad as the ones pictured here did. Damn, what a mess.

I hit a deer in Missouri though not as bad. The responding MHP trooper's first quest to me was, "Were you wearing your seatbelt?" Never saw where that was important.

I actually got these in an e-mail about a year ago. That vehicle had to be going way way fast to do all that. I have seen a bunch of deer/car accidents and none have come close to that except a deputy that hit a deer at a 100+(did not hit window).
    cool pics though
