The guys in the yellow turnout suits are Cal Fire, formerly CDF (California Department of Forestry). We have trained some of the them to perform some of the rescue duties. They are great to work with and a real asset to our overall fire/rescue mission.
As far as the law enforcement goes, that is still all deputy sheriffs handling that.Those who live by the sword... get shot by those who don't.

wow that training looks like its a blast.... really have to have faith in your equipment and teammate.
