Wifes present
My wife and I just celebrated our 50th anniversery so I figured I would get her something different this time, instead of jewlery. Its a 530i with less then 15000 miles. (why buy new and pay the depreciation when you drive off the lot).

If I could ever find one to put up with me for 50 years (not that I have that many left), I'd buy her one just like it.
As it is, though, I just wind up giving them a house after seven or so.

Tell me not, Sweet, I am unkind,

Of thy chaste breast and quiet mind
To war and arms I fly. - Lovelace

A few years ago my wife and I had rented a car to go visit my parents and I had gotten a deal so we were driving a brand new Cadillac (2002 model) my wife tells me this is what she wants when our daughter graduates from college and since then every year I print out the blue book value for a 2002 Cadillac and have told her that in 2016 when our daughter graduates I will get her one of them ( a 2002 Cadillac)
Congrats on 50 years

We dallied under
Vine maples and sapling alders
Searched for lady slippers
But instead
Found blackberry riots and
Desiccated branches
An old skid road
Brought ghost ferns and
Hollows filled with
Skunk cabbage
While waves wrapped
Intricate lacings of weeds
'Round mule spinners
His cyanotic eyes
Were hard enough to make
The sun turn tail and
Tender enough to attract me
To his world of illusion
