    Firemen get the best toys

My local FD agency got a new 2008 $300K rescue rig. I think the coolest part of it is the back graphics. Just let us try to put this on our cars...

The rig is Rescue 1 (slaps forehead).

It is a VERY heavy rig. I don't know my apparatus too well but its about 40 feet long. Mammoth thing, I tell you.

Y'know... I gotta wonder whether Warner Bros knows and approved of the logo...

I know, I'm sure they wouldn't bitch too much... but wanna bet there'd be an uproar if a PD did something like that without getting approval from copyright holders?

I tried putting Daffy Duck on my hood and Walt Disney had a fit.

In all seriousness.....I'd rather not see graphics and whatnot on squads.....we look professional having sharp, sleek cars. If they want cartoons on their trucks, they can have 'em.

i have to nod yes.... i was always envious of the fire dept next door...
they would test their ladders and hoses and stuff...

one time i gave into temptation and asked if i could climb the ladder

it was lots of fun and then i asked if i could have 4 cans of their hand sanitizers lol

I'd say those hosebeaters are compensating with a big firetruck for something that isn't so big.

Let me guess, the 'SBFD' on the back stands for 'Small Boners Fire Department.'

They might think it stands for Super Boners Fire Department.
