Stealthy Dakota Traffic car..er, truck.
Anyone from Pinellas seen this? Very sneakity-sneak.
(If this should be in another thread do so)
Pinellas County Dodge pickup.
This Dakota is used by Pinellas County for 'stealth' traffic enforcement. Note the blue lights in the bumper replacing stock driving lights.
Here's a nice shot of the interior. Note Pro-Laser III handheld and stationary radar, VDT, PA300, Motorola, etc.
Shot from the rear, the truck bed 'lifts' to display this trick setup with blue/yellow strobes. Vehicle runs a plain tag, once you pass this guy, too late! There are only two kinds of real justice left: street and poetic...
Canada, huh? Almost made it...

That is sweet. I've seen a navy Chevy Silverado in the St. Louis Metro area before. Scared the crap out of me when he got the guy in front of me. Outside of Mustangs and Camaros, those are sweet traffic undercovers.
I'm not ruining your life, you are, and I'm just going to write a short story about it.

It also has cameras front and rear through the windows. Can catch agressive drivers that are zipping up behind him, and even the stupid ones who tailgate him..... They also have some Dodge Chargers and are retrofitting a Magnum very soon. Super stealth. Traffic in that county is horrible so they put some effort into ticketing the agressive drivers.

That is a tight set up. I like the pro-laser 3 sitting on the passenger seat. I did a radar sting out here in CA. We set up in a parking lot with our pro-lasers and had reserves waiting down the road to intercept. We were in full uniform standing on the side of the road. How do you get around the lack of door emblems?

Good to know since I am heading up that way tomorrow.
