We had a domestic recently where a man wielding a knife was confronted by three of our officer outside his residence. He refused to put the knife down and mace was not effective... in fact he continued to sip on his beer while the mace was dripping down his body. One of the officers eventually struck the suspect's arm with an asp, causing him to drop the knife and he was taken into custody..... I'm not so sure I would have used that much patience with him.
About a month later the same suspect (unarmed this time) charged an officer on a traffic stop and would not show the officer his hands after he fled another domestic. This time he was fatally shot.
Some people just don't learn.

These pics have been posted everwhere. Here a few times.
There is nothing to substantiate the claims that the "victim" in the pictures is a police officer. Snopes says it's more likely it's from a fight between inmates."If everyone is thinking alike, then someone isn't thinking." -Gen. George S. Patton
