Brea PD near miss
I am not sure if this happened on CA 90 (Imperial Hwy) or CA 57 (Orange Fwy) , but perhaps some of our So Cal members can enlighten me. I couldn't find much history on the video, other than that the officer making the traffic stop appears to be from Brea PD. This could have very easily been a LODD. I am glad to see that the officer was able to see what was coming towards him and get out of the way. Be Safe out there, all.

I bet he heard a crash of some kind first which brought attention to the vehicle because the vehicle came at him backwards, not consistant with the direction of travel

I probably would have let out my Zena princess warrior yell and climbed in the front seat with the driver. After my meeting was over I would have cleaned my ass.

Thats about as close as they get.....great jump back by the officer. Looks like he might have heard something or maybe his 6th sense was working just fine. Either way, he went home a winner that day.
