any PC gamers?
I see on the forums that a lot of people play on the consoles... I've always played PC and still do... My favorites are CoD4, BF2 and I just recently got CoD WaW. I've had problems with crap running in the background and causing lags on my computer so I solved that by buying another computer
I purchased a custom build computer that will be strictly for gaming, no other online or computing things. I'm excited about it... I know it was considerably more than a console would have cost me but I stay in my comfort zones... I got the Intel i7 920 quad core processor, 1TB hard drive with cooler, 6GB of DDR3 1333mhz RAM, and dual 9800GT 1GB video cards. Oh, and one of those cool looking clear sided cases with blue leds!
Now when I want to play I can turn on this computer and have nothing but my games on it and with the Terrabite hard drive I can acutally have several installed and ready to play. Plus I just got one of the Belkin n52te Tournament Edition SpeedPad's which is cool too. Anyway, I'm just excited and wanted to share. My gun shop has been doing well since Obama got elected so my wife thinks I'm stupid for having two computers but she just doesn't get it

I *was* a gamer until games passed up my system specs (P4 3.4GHz). I plan on putting together an i7 setup soon so I can get back to it.

Flash games are amusing enough for me these days. Quite the variety in the O/R arcade...though, needs a selection of Tower Defense.

As for as PC games go, try America's Army, it is a free game offered by the U.S. Army. It is a very large download, so a newer computer is a must in order to play the game.

I play both. Sports games on the console and mostly sim type games on my PC. NOT THE SIMS though! Likw Silent Hunter series (WWII Submarine sim), most any flight sim or first person shooters.

Yeah, I play PC. Been playing CoD4 again recently with the PeZBot mod, CoD:WaW and BF2. I was also messing with ArmA. I play casually, I am no means a hardcore, or under-skilled gamer.

Does playing The Sims for hours on end count?
There’s a promise I need you to make
While I’m gone you take care of the love
And I’ll deal with the hate.
Don’t worry about me; I’ll be all right
Just care for your children and sleep tight
I’ll keep you safe on my watch tonight

COD 4. That's about it for me.
For the morning will come. Brightly will it shine on the brave and true, kindly upon all who suffer for the cause, glorious upon the tombs of heroes. Thus will shine the dawn.

I have not owned a "real" console since Atari. :-) I have been playing PC games for about 8 years since Delta Force Land Warrior. I currently play with a great group of people on Soldiers Of Honor . Soldiers Of Honor - Team SOH and we currently host Delta Force Black Hawk Down (with very strict comlpiance to rules and moderators to eliminate cheaters) CoD4, and CoD WaW. Unfortunately my current box will not play WaW, so I have been looking at building a new one as soon as $ permits. Feel free to stop by our forums and servers when you have a chance.
