I'll take any of the three, if offered.

I'm with you there Maclean. Depending on what Government Motors does in the future will have a great impact on my future decisions. I love Corvettes, but I have already started looking at Porsche.

Dont buy a porsche, to get one that you will actually enjoy (one that's not slower than your z28) you will have to shell out some serious cash.

I absolutely ADORE my Mustang.
I am, however, a big fan of the American Muscle car...and really am enjoying teh old cars made new and out on the road. Would love to test drive both the Camaro and the Challenger....both are YUMMY.

I have been a Ford boy since my first car. The SN95 Mustang I had (2003 Mach 1) was a SCREAMER right off the showroom floor. What a great car. Then the new Mustang came out, and I about lost it. Not a fan. Then the Challenger debuted, and I looked at that one. The SRT8 Challenger was too heavy, and had an open differential (one wheel peel - only 1 wheel getting the power). That, and the $$$$ gas guzzler tax threw that idea right out the window. Then came the Camaro.
Yeah, it's heavy. But it has the power to overcome the weight. It gets good enough mileage so the gas nazis don't tax it. And it has 2 wheels putting the power to the road. The rear gears are a bit steep though, and they may be the first mod I do if I ever get that sexy machine. I'm thinking 3.75:1, if not 3.90 gear sets.
Yeah, I am a traitor to Ford. But that Camaro makes a lot of sense to my musclecar brain.

What gears does the new Camaro come with. One of the first mods on my 00 SS was to hit it up with 4.10s which quickly became a beefed up Moser 12 bolt.

I knew there was a reason I liked you. Ford man all the way. Though I tend to like the classics. My first car was a '70 Sportsroof. One step below the Mach 1. I have also owned a '66 coupe. Mustang has done a great job in the retro dept.
With GM and Chrysler being bailed out and relying on the Gov't it will be interesting if the Camaro and the Challenger make it past production.
On a side note, I can't stand it when some people can't seem to spell Camaro right. They always want to put an e in place of the second a. Camero, phooey.
Choose The Right. When you're doing whats right, then you have nothing to worry about.

I like all three, however, I got an up close look at a new Camaro SS the other day and I have to say that I think it would get my pick if given the choice between the three...
