That ain't bad - the graphics are slow, as is the hard drive - if you game on it.

If you use it the way most people do, you'll be happy with it.

Video is fine for Intel series, CPU is a Dual Core instead of a Core 2 Duo though, giving up some speed there mostly because of the smaller L2 cache. While plenty fast enough there should be a good discount in the pricing between the two. For $450 I'd like it see it come with a full 4 gigs of ram or a bigger HD. Nice screen though.

With that and the rest of the specs along with what I've seen in laptop deals lately I'd say this is a fair price. Not the deal of a lifetime.

The video is integrated, and 4 Gigs is wasted on Vista..

It comes with upgrade to windows 7 for free

Well I ended up buying this computer. I tried and tried to get them to go lower on the deal, or to give me more for that price and they were pretty tough to bargin with. The only thing I could get them to bend on was this.

Microsoft Windows Vista SP1 Home Basic Edition, English
free upgrade to windows 7

I got them to upgrade me to Vista Premium with free upgrade to windows7 home premium.
I also got them to throw in a $50 dell gift card.

I learned one thing from this. If you got into dell sales chat and talk to a rep they can get you better deals than what is offered online. I also learned that the dell chat sales people work off of commission so if you tell them you are going to purchase the computer right now with them they will get you the best deal.
