Red Ring O' Death
Oh nooooooooo! Got the dreaded red-ring on my XBox 360 yesterday morning about about 0400. So I sent it back. UPS picked it up around 0900. I don't actually play it all that much, but I had just started some new games and now I can't play at all!
But.... up to 21 days to get it back? What the heck am I going to do for 21 days?
I found myself actually pricing a new one. They have a new High Def compatible model with a honking 250 gig HD. I could get that here in 3 days if I go with the fast delivery.
I think I need to get a life.

Happened to mine just a few months ago. It took normal shipping time to get to the repair facility in suburban Dallas. Once it got there, it was a real quick turnaround. It was being shipped back to me a day after arriving. So don't sweat the 21 days, you'll probably get it back sooner. And all will be well with the universe.

Well, just so you all know, I was about to kill off the aliens when the box died, so they are still out there and I’m unable to protect you.

Yep- I hear you. In a perfect world, I’d have all three of the systems- Xbox360, PS3 and Wii. But for some reason my wife thinks there are other things we have to spend our money on. Go figure- women have weird concepts of what’s really important.

One of my kids just popped up with an x-box and has the modern warfare game of some number. I like the game and want to play it but the ^U%$ing controller is a sonofa%%$%##$. I simply cannot get it down.
It ^%%ed me off so I went to the range and shot the moth%%$$#*&$ the best way I knew how.
He's dead many times over, there was no red ring of any kind, the world is safe from that moth#$$%^%@# and I feel a lot better.
Yes I will keep trying to master the controller but it's going to cost me a fortune in range fees. Between me, numerous cups of coffee, stressing the controller, and range therapy I have no clue what I would be capable of if a red ring would pop up on the damn thing. In house shotgun target practice perhaps?Do not war for peace. If you must war, war for justice. For without justice there is no peace. -me

All of the X-Box 360's are high definition capable.
Don't buy a new one when all you need is to switch the lever on the cable or buy an HDMI cable.I'm your huckleberry...
