I don't really give a rats ass if it's "reality' or not. From what I've seen, it portrays us in a good light, and there's nothing wrong with positive publicity.
For the morning will come. Brightly will it shine on the brave and true, kindly upon all who suffer for the cause, glorious upon the tombs of heroes. Thus will shine the dawn.

I watched it the other night. Less see: Seagal has 2 Stars, another Deputy wears Eagles, there a Lt and a CPT in the bunch. The only one that seems to know what to to is the SGT. When was the last time you saw THAT MUCH rank on the street patrolling? Everyone wants a photo op, and some of the stops were purely for the camera. Besides, Seagal has a hard time talking without a script. I'd give it a D+ right now, Got to watch another show or to to really see whats it worth.

12-07-09, 11:54 AM #46SI VIS PACEM PARA BELLUM-Ex-Sheriff Martin Howe to Will Kane in "High Noon"
"It's a great life. You risk your skin catching killers and the juries turn them loose so they can come back and shoot at you again. If your honest , your poor your whole life. And , In the end , you wind up dying all alone on some dirty street. For what? For nothing. For a tin star."
Far from being a handicap to command, compassion is the measure of it. For unless one values the lives of his soldiers and is tormented by their ordeals , he is unfit to command.

Wow....last night was terrible. I doubt I'll ever watch this show again. By the end of the show, he would have had to shoot me or do some kung foo, because if he'd have kept singing, I'd have had to put him down............
The six o'clock ruleI tell them to act according to the six o'clock rule, a phrase that causes most of them to say, "Huh?"
I tell them to use this little test before they decide to do something. If they were to do what they're thinking about, and it became the lead story on the six o'clock news, would they be proud? Would their department be proud, and would their family be proud? It's a simple way to live your life both personally and professionally.

That bothered me more than any other part. My wife was watching it with me and as soon as he found the gun and wanted to show off what he found I started yelling at the TV that he turned away from the guy and started walking away. Then later in the car he was trying to say how he went off on the gun as soon as he found it.

You forgot egomaniac......
(not an exact quote, but close)
"you can think of me as Steven Seagal the movie star, or you can think 'Hey, Steven Seagal could save my life.'"
I'm just glad that that show is down there in LA and not here in Muntucky. That show is painful to watch.
