I've been rocking it with the Nexus S. I loooove 2.3. It's fast and smooth as butter. The GUI is much more refined and polished.

I'm sure I'll have several weeks of "oh, shit, that's different". I'm looking forward to it. I'm guessing that by the time Ice Cream Sandwich comes, I may not get the OTA updates and have to root to get it.

I've been getting upgrade text messages from Verizon. They must be trying to get rid of their excess Droid 2 stock. I'm going to wait until the Droid 3 is out before I upgrade.

Ok, my Blackberry died today and I replaced it with a Droid X. So far I hate it, but then again I've only had it for a few hours.

I think I'm starting to love this phone. The size has taken a lot of getting used to, it's not as convenient to carry as the Blackberry.

I installed the free version of Lookout, do you think it's worth it to get the paid version?

I use the free version very helpful when my phone is in the couch cushions. I would never need to wipe my phone so I just keep free

If you are really paranoid about your phone being stolen and your data being compromised you can pay for that remote wipe.

The free version of Lookout is what I use. It scans installing apps and it will locate my phone if it's lost or stolen.

Thank you! I'll stick with the free version. Now that I think I have much of the phone figured out, I can start looking for other apps to play with!

The droid forum is helpful, it was there that I found out how to sync the Droid with my car.
