The good news is I think I've doubled the battery life on my phone with ICS. Not only has performance significantly improved but the battery life is amazing...
Yeah, it's behaving fine and my laptop is finally happy too. There's a couple of nearby houses that use B and I think it (in part) was a problem with too much interference. When I upgrade next I'll switch to N but for now just cutting back to G seems to make all my crap happy.
So I'm constantly traveling and living out of suitcases in hotels. I'm sick of lugging around a big backpack full of cords and a big laptop that doesn't last more than a couple hours. I'm also sick of Windows on the computer.
A couple days ago I bought an Asus Transformer Prime tablet running Android 4.0.
I absofreakinglutely love it. It screams on the Tegra 3 Quad Core processor. It is smooth as glass. I'm running 4.0 on my phone so everything is very similar. The screen is crystal clear and beautiful. I'm learning to type quickly using the Swift keyboard. The battery doesn't stop, I use this all day and still have 50% left. F laptops.
The Prime doesn't have cellular access so I don't need a data plan. I turn on my phone's wifi hotspot if I'm not around any other wifi.
This is my new computer. All my data is going on the cloud. I love it and I haven't even rooted it.
I guess you like that tablet so much you had to say it twice!
I fixed the double tap...
I guess I can legally join the discussion now. Just traded my old 3GS for a shiny new Galaxy S II.
So far, so good. Learning about it still though.
Not sure if anyone else is following the updates for USA cop app. But they are going to integrate 10-8 over next couple of days .
You can find more information on it on 10/8 here

I have also used VIS app they make. It's a good start and i'm going to contact about a few suggestions.
Ringtones, Message Tones, and Wallpapers all free. You can also search the App on your phone by typing in "Zedge". Good stuff:

I've been using Zedge for quite a few months now. Love it. Sometimes they're hard to sort through as they're all user uploaded, and you may find the exact same thing listed six different ways, but all in all I'm happy.
My phone doesn't (by itself) allow custom text tones, but I downloaded Handcent SMS and set it as the default alert program. I still use the standard interface for sending and reading texts, but this way I know who has texted me without even looking at the phone.
Jelly Bean is delicious!
Rocking the upgrade to 4.1.1 on my phone today. Some nice new features and it feels snappier too.
My first day into 4.1.1 and the battery life seems improved over ICS which was really good to begin with. There's more polish to the UI. I also like the new Google search that predicts what you are doing and where you are going. I get automatic weather and traffic updates. Pretty cool.
Amazon Flow is a pretty badass app too. I don't know if it's available for everyone yet but it's on Jelly Bean. It uses your camera to identify objects and then present you with purchase information. It's like barcode scanning without the barcode.
Hey Xiphos, I hear JB lets you control notifications per app. Are there other per app permission settings? I'd love to be able to review and approve/deny all per app right in the OS, 'Permissions Denied' is an ok tool, but that's like saying a pie tin makes an ok ice-scraper when you have nothing else.
I'm not sure what you're talking about. With ICS you could clear stuff from the notification bar individually instead of everything in the bar together. JB is the same. The notifications though have more info like some of the email you can read to see what it's about. You can pinch and zoom to read more or collapse the notification to make more room.
Oh sure, make me do my own homework, where's the fun in that?! ;)

Dropped my Android starter phone on the phone at Walmart this afternoon. The screen shattered.

I now have an HTV Evo V. I'm looking at what all it can do. (yes, I'm playing with it) :D
Rooted Nexus 7 - loving it.
I got a Asus TF300 recently with ICS. I absolutely love it. I also got a Gumdrop case for it, which was worth every penny. Makes a tablet almost mil spec. I can attest that it has saved it from a few bangs from my 2 and 5 year olds getting a hold of it.
