Android SMS app?
Does anyone use any sms app for their droid? I thought I read somewhere that you can have googlevoice run your sms, but I can't figure out how to get it to run sms for my original phone number..
There looks to be a few decent apps out there, just wondering if anyone has any experience with them?

There are aftermarket SMS apps but I use GV so I can't review any for you. A little searching on the net should be able to help you. I've seen some reviews I just don't remember them.
Google Voice will give you a new number and your calls and SMS go through that number. I don't give out my carrier number anymore, everything is filtered through GV. The nice thing is that I often use the computer GV site to send and receive SMS. If I'm near the computer, why type on my phone?That which does not kill me, better start fucking running.

I plan on continuing to use my carrier number for my friends, etc.. I've had this cell number for 8 years now, too many people have it.. I plan on using my gv number for work so I have access to a cell at work..
