THE A-TEAM
THIS MOVIE ROCKS. I AM GOING TO GO SEE IT AGAIN.
They did a freaking superb job on this thing. Yes, some cheesy stuff (but not as much as you'd think), but overall just totally fucking awesome. Just go see it and thank me later.
It had:
-the VAN
-Hannibal smoking people with a mini-14
-Murdoc flying and being crazy
-BA sporting the mohawk, pitying fools and kicking ass
-Face pulling down tail
Maybe the best movie of the year.Idiot

I just saw it today...I was expecting it to be better. Still not too bad, little far-fetched for my liking.

Do they fire 10,000 rounds and nobody gets hit?

I'm glad you liked it...I've been wanting to go see it since I saw the preview! It's good to hear a nice review.
And yeah, far-fetched is a must, krauty. You must have never grown up watching it.

Only the bad guys. The 'team can hit shit now. Their characters are really great - you know it's good when you can't decide who your favorite character is.
Sure, the action sequences are over the top, but you can't go into this with an eye toward reality. It's an homage to the a-team, and they did really well. If you're going to go see it, put your mind back in 14-year-old mode and have fun.Idiot

Oh I intend to go enjoy it, I was just curious if they modernized the hit ratio

It has Jessica in it, so I'm on it.I'm your huckleberry...

Its actually a movie I want to see

On the hit ratio thing. Years ago I spoke to the producer of the original series and I asked them why no one ever got hit. He said that was the only way they could put the show on prime time.'Political Correctness is a doctrine fostered by a
delusional, illogical liberal minority, and rabidly
promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which
holds forth the proposition that it is entirely
possible to pick up a turd by the clean end!'

I didn't see the TV show - would it be worth watching a few to catch references in the movie or does the movie stand on its own just fine?

I think it stands on it's own just fine. My 12 year old son has never seen the original series, and when the movie was done he said it was the best movie ever made. Oddly, my 10 year old daughter liked it nearly as much.

If you can take your ten year old to it, it doesn't bode well for seeing enough of Jessica.

Still going to go see it.I'm your huckleberry...

I loved it, my only complaint if any was the amount of unnessacary cussing. Some foul language in the right circumstance is worth it, but this movie had a good bit of cussing cause we can in it.

Saw it yesterday. It was good. There were some differences between it and the show. The show focused more on the A Team helping out individuals against crooked locals like a ranch owner, sheriff, competing company, etc. The movie was different. The characters were done fairly well. No one will ever be exact identicals, but I felt like they did a decent job. It was worth the $7.50 matinee price.
