Cop didn't realize they were filming a movie.

It would appear something needs to be said about that front crash guard. Bumblebee didn't seem to fair so well.

The story as I understand it is that one department handled closing the road for filming, and the other cop (different department) was responding to a suspicious package (possible bomb) call and didn't realize that road was closed. Fun ensued. The officer was taken to a local hospital, treated and released with very minor injuries. I can look up the links if anyone really wants them. If I am remembering right, Bumblebee was basically a remote controlled stunt car.

Sorry, Ducky, that doesn't make sense. The K9 Tahoe was MPDC, the streets there are DC (I think that's the Ronald Reagan Building on the corner)... Shouldn't have been anyone but MPDC handling the street closures.
What I'd guess is that someone forgot about the closures...Voting against incumbents until we get a Congress that does its job.

From a cop buddy who was onscene, the guy was running code to something he didn't need to be running code to. MPDC should have blocked the street but failed. This was the only cop in the city unaware the movie was in this spot
