I have actaully read this comic series, and it's pretty damn cool. The comic was based around a city police officer from Cynthiana KY, which is not too far away from my town.

It's a cool character study about how people respond to an apocalyptic event when they are isolated and under constant threat. I thought Rick, the main police character, was really well done.

I'm going to DVR the TV series, and I hope it's half as good as the graphic novel.

I never read the graphic novel, but so far I like the show.

ORLY? I'll give any zombie flick a shot, didn't know going in there was a police angle beyond Rick being a cop (respectfully enough done so far imo) and a populace reaction component beyond pat stuff. I came for zombies, might get more than I expected. Cool.

Haven't watched ep4 yet, but 1-3 were enough for me to pick it as a keeper.

Decent series....better than that "reality" crap we are subjected to....ie: Dancing with anything, American "I really think I can sing" Idol, Project "just how gay do you have to be to design a dress" Runway....you know what I mean.
