Just bought a p/s for my ham shack, will be setting up my vintage 2m rig in there to start. Just got my General class license manual and am studying for an upgrade. Planning on getting an hf rig (my brother is considering selling me an older (vac tube finals) hf rig of his. Currently bidding on a shortwave radio to throw in in the meantime. My hamshack isn't really started yet, but pics will be forthcoming.
Anyone else here active in ham radio?

I am not that active currently, but I do still have a dual band rig in my pickup truck and one in the house. I have a pair of Yaesu FT-8800s. It is a fun hobby. Good luck on the Amateur Extra!

Haven't got the General yet, just the manual. Once I get an HF rig maybe we could set up an OR sched:biggrin1: Once its a bit warmer I think I'm gonna mount a mobile in my truck again.Quote:
