Need decent DVD to common format ripper
I have a little mobile vid player and would like to be able to watch some of my DVDs on it, but am having a problem finding a decent ripper that won't cost me an arm and a leg. Destination formats can be wmv, avi, mp4, and flv. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I've used Handbrake in the past for my iPhone with good results...not necessarily very fast but makes for a good "overnight" project. If you use "DVD shrink" first, you can get *.iso files from your discs, and then use Handbrake on the isos to just make a queue that'll work overnight.
On some (most?) discs, you might have to remove the copy protection first, so you might need to run a decrypter, for example DVD43, in the background
