That's what it's meant for. Kill all apps is bad, knocking one that's stopped responding is ok. Although I find myself rebooting when apps start hanging up.
Excellent. I do use the power control widget. I will see what else I have and what to trash. Ill turn off the data as well and see how that works. That along with the spare batteries and I should be good to go. Ill still reading up on the rooting though.
I rooted last night. It wasn't very exciting. I keep ZDBox around for the occasional app kill, more for the app lockout and other handy traits. Just wish the data use meter tracked properly.
My experience is screen brightness is the killer whale, everything else is middling results. So I'm curious how you all handle the screen, both in time on and brightness.
I use the auto brightness and or the brightness tab on the power control widget. However I've learned to live with the power drain the screen is. The vivid screen is just one of the reasons I like this phone.
