Help identify this movie (Recent, romantic comedy)

So my girlfriend and I saw this movie a while back, and she wants to see it again, but neither of us can remember it, just parts that were in it. I'm doubting I'll have much luck here, as my memory is vague, but here goes...

The main character, a guy, is kind of a slvt but falls in love with this girl. Now the guy's dad is also a complete slvt, and a college professor. I remember one scene where the son visits dad in his dad's office, and his dad has this assistant that is hot and showing just about everything, and they both make some remarks about her.

Now for some reason this wedding scene comes to mind. I want to say he got invited to this wedding, but probably shouldn't have been. He gets drunk, makes an a** out of himself, and then starts talking to one of the girl's mom's about how wild she was when she was young, and IIRC the mom starts messing around with him right there.

He wears an all black suit in the movie, with a black undershirt and a black tie. It's sharp looking.

I want to for the life of me say it was Matthew McConaughey, and I know it was NOT Ghosts of Girlfriend's Past. But other than that, I'm drawing a blank.

Any help from you movie gowers? Thanks!
