Green Goblin abducted Anderson Cooper and tried to force him to break his contract with CNN

In light of the world watching the New Year’s Eve festivities in New York City, a couple of comic book characters came to life sharing a storyline that had the broadcaster Anderson Cooper caught in the middle.
Bottom-line is Anderson Cooper was saved by Spiderman before the stroke of midnight. In an epic reflection of why New York City, as well as the world, needs superheroes the Green Goblin took over the Times Square area for a presentation. Capturing Anderson Cooper and promising to make him more famous than Wolf Blitzer, the Green Goblin actually had to be put in his place by Spiderman who came to the rescue.
