Talking Green Goblin abducted Anderson Cooper and tried to force him to break his contract with CNN

The Green Goblin was seen by thousands in Times Square on Saturday night as the evil doer decided to capture Anderson Cooper for a new network. In light of the world watching the New Year’s Eve festivities in New York City, a couple of comic book characters came to life sharing a storyline that had the broadcaster Anderson Cooper caught in the middle.

Bottom-line is Anderson Cooper was saved by Spiderman before the stroke of midnight. In an epic reflection of why New York City, as well as the world, needs superheroes the Green Goblin took over the Times Square area for a presentation. Capturing Anderson Cooper and promising to make him more famous than Wolf Blitzer, the Green Goblin actually had to be put in his place by Spiderman who came to the rescue.

"It's a great life. You risk your skin catching killers and the juries turn them loose so they can come back and shoot at you again. If your honest , your poor your whole life. And , In the end , you wind up dying all alone on some dirty street. For what? For nothing. For a tin star."
-Ex-Sheriff Martin Howe to Will Kane in "High Noon"

Far from being a handicap to command, compassion is the measure of it. For unless one values the lives of his soldiers and is tormented by their ordeals , he is unfit to command.
