Controversy over toddlers' use of fake cigarettes on "Toddlers and Tiaras"
On a recent episode of TLC’s “Toddlers and Tiaras,” 4-year-old pageant contestantDestiny Christian appeared on stage with a fake cigarette in her mouth. The girl, dressed as Sandy, Olivia Newton-John’s character from “Grease,” she then threw it on the ground and stepped on it.More here:Pageant judges called the use of the prop “inappropriate” and “in poor taste.”

I would call the entire child pageant crap "inappropriate" and "in poor taste."

Always struck me as a paedophiles dream show....... wrong on so many levels.A common mistake made when trying to come up with a totally foolproof design is to completely underestimate the innate ingenuity of fools.

I don't know what's worse, moms living out their beauty pageant dreams in their 4 year olds or dads living out their MLB or NFL dreams with their little league or pee wee football children. What is it with parents making little kids grow up so fast? Some of it borders on abuse.
