.22 round found in doorway
Am I talking about hanging out at my place? Hecks no! You'd never catch a wussy little round like .22 in my pad.
No, it's actually newsworthy in the UK, apparently. Here's the article (click).
It's amazing. Something like this most people wouldn't bat an eye at, but by reading this article, you'd think someone left a pipe bomb ready to go off.The virtue of spirit has no need for thanks or approval. Only the certain conviction that what has been done is right. -Jor El, as played by Marlon Brando

"The bullet, of Swiss origin, was still in its brass casing, complete with enough gunpowder for it to fire itself.
Mr Khan said that if it had been struck hard enough or exposed to heat it could have gone off."
Hahahahahahahaha... dont come around my house. you may see little rounds lying in a bucket that if struck hard enough or lit on fire may go off causing many mini explosions and stuff but they just may go off by themselves cause they are all filled with enough gun powder to do that or something

Haha...
I can't believe a police spokesman said thatA police spokesman said: "Recovering firearms and ammunition is a priority for the police. We take the same view of ammunition as we do of a gun.
"If it goes bang, it is still lethal."
A .22 cartridge exploded outside the chamber goes off like a little firecracker. You may get some case fragments in your eye, but the bullet isn't going anywhere with any degree of force - The case splits, the preassure is relieved, and smokeless powder (unlike black powder) does not explode unless it's under extreme preassure. In fact, it doesn't really explode even inside the chamber under preassure - it just burns faster.
The police department should be embarassed by that statement.

These guys would pass out at my house with all the .223 rounds laying around.

We won't mention the case of .30-06 hiding in my ammo cans then.

If only it came with a holster, I'm sure the SWAT guys would want it.

And it would have made life difficult for Clint, "Have I fired five hundred rounds or six?"

Ammo
[QUOTE=Trojan 42;119700]I expect you've all got two of these?
Hell no, where do you get one and how much. Just the thing for squarrels in the back yard. My sister-in-law asked my wife how many hand guns I have. She replied that she has no idea, there all over the house. I keep picking up ammo every day, and put them in a box. Some day I'll go thru it.
