Teacher brings 11 yr old male student home, and lets him touch and kiss her breasts

There are new details in the case of a Williamson County teacher's aide accused of having an improper relationship with an elementary school student.

Police say Kumi Houston admitted to engaging in sexual contact with the boy, but her attorney says "not so fast."

Houston was arrested Tuesday, and she posted a $50,000 bond.

KXAN NBC Austin spoke to Houston's attorney. The first question we asked him was, "How do you get past your client admitting to the improper relationship?"

He said that admission is solely the detective's interpretation.

Houston was a special education assistant at Live Oak Elementary. She was fired Tuesday. The alleged incident took place in the bedroom at Houston's home.

The complaint filed by detectives with the Williamson County SHeriff's Department states: "On November 18, 2006, Kumi Houston admitted that while at her home she and the 11-year-old boy went into her bedroom. That in the bedroom she allowed the 11-year old boy to raise her bra and touch and kiss her breasts."

Detectives say it's a confession. Her attorney says it's just one detective's conclusion.

"A police officer writes an affidavit and says so-and-so admitted. That's a conclusion of the officer when in fact what happened is the person made a statement. It may be an admission, or it may be just their version of what happened. That's not a confession," Houston's attorney Robert M. Phillips said.

This alleged incident happened in June, so the other question in this case is why did it take until now to charge her with a crime.

The 11-year old boy involved was interviewed last Friday by detectives. That's nearly five months after the alleged sexual contact took place.

And child abuse? Feeding your kid McDonalds is child abuse, but millions of people do it everyday. When I was 11 I would have rather my parents found some boobies for me to play with, then to have started me on the road to heart desease!!
